This course will cover and refresh content from unit standards 6402 and 6401.

Requirements

This course is hands-on and involves several practical components. If you’re dealing with injuries or medical conditions that might impact your participation, we encourage you to reach out to us in advance.

Site Requirements

For a successful on-site private course, we need:

  1. Spacious Training Area: Adequate room for practical exercises, with space for participants to safely work with partners on the ground.
  2. Ventilation: A well-ventilated room to ensure a comfortable learning environment.
  3. Furnishings: Two tables and sufficient chairs for participants and trainers.
  4. Projector Space: An area for clear projector display.
  5. AV Equipment: We can utilize your AV setup if available.

These essentials ensure a safe, efficient, and engaging training experience. Your support in providing this environment helps us deliver the best possible training.

Prerequisites

A current first aid certificate or refresher certificate stating you have completed unit standards 6402, 6401.  The certificate must be no older than 2 years and 3 months.  This must be presented to PracMed NZ admin team prior to the course (unless a current student).

This course awards the Foundation First Aid Revalidation Certificate.

Your certificate will state the unit standards you are refreshing.
